EPCOT: LivingSeas Dive April 10th $150/person Epcot DiveQuest is a unique scuba diving experience inside the 5.7-million-gallon saltwater tank at the Seas with Nemo & Friends Pavilion <http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/parks/epcot/attractions/the-seas-with-nemo-and-friends-pavilion/> in Epcot theme park <http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/parks/epcot/> . Scuba-certified Guests can swim with over 6,000 sea creatures representing over 60 species—including sea turtles, angelfish, dolphins, eagle rays and sharks. The experience lasts 3 hours, and Guests will spend approximately 40 minutes underwater in the massive Caribbean Coral Reef aquarium—which until 2005 was the largest saltwater tank in the world. Participants also get to see the massive backstage infrastructure required to filter and maintain a vast manmade ocean flourishing with life. With its clear water and lack of currents, Epcot DiveQuest is an experience that both diving enthusiasts and Disney fans will never forget. Where else in the world can you swim with sharks and sea turtles while simultaneously waving to people enjoying a sit-down meal? All diving equipment is provided. Please bring a swim suit and, if you wish, bring your own dive mask—particularly if you have a prescription mask.
Gulf of Mexico
Two tank dives running in the Gulf every Saturday and Sunday, and periodically through the week. Average dives 40 - 60 ft. and max is 80 ft. Call for availability. We use Tanks-a-lot dive charters located in Clearwater. The boat trip costs $80 and we go out to local hot spots.
Skills and Fundamentals Refresher Days!
Limited availability for this class. Brush up on those skills that you may have been become rusty at. We will get your scuba skills back up to speed at the newly renovated Forty Fathoms Grotto. There are dive platforms at 10', 20', 30', 60' plus buoyancy control triangles. We will schedule these on several Sundays throughout the winter. Please call us for more information
